This is the license for WinTinyBar (“the Software”). It is written to be read. The Terms page is the friendly summary; this page is the agreement itself. The Privacy Policy separately explains local data and optional connected processing. This license is not consent to product measurement, community research or local learning from translations.
The Software is made by Uppercut Studio Ltda, an independent software studio registered in Brazil under CNPJ 44.993.043/0001-90, at R. Benedito Alvarenga Carvalho 91, São José dos Campos, SP, 12246-120, Brazil (“we”, “us”). Contact: wintinybar@uppercut.studio · wintinybar.com. The Software is proprietary and closed-source: it is licensed to you, not sold.
The base desktop Software currently offered is free of charge. Optional models, add-ons, partner tools or connected services may be licensed separately when clearly identified before acquisition. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on the devices you personally own or control. The license belongs to you as a person, not to one machine — use it on your desktop, your laptop, all of yours.
You may share the Software with others, unmodified and free of charge. If we offer optional paid models, services or add-ons, they are licensed to the person who acquired them and may not be redistributed.
The Software bundles third-party components distributed under their own licenses —
see the THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES file and the licenses folder installed with the
app. For those components, their own licenses govern and prevail over this Agreement.
Nothing here limits any rights those licenses give you, including, where they grant it,
the right to study, modify or replace those components.
The Software and all intellectual property rights in it remain the property of Uppercut Studio. You get the license in section 2 — nothing else is transferred.
Updates are delivered through the app when you ask for them (“Get Latest”), and are provided as described in this Agreement, like the Software itself. We work hard on WinTinyBar, but we don't promise specific future features or dates.
Core local tools can operate offline after the model downloads you choose. Exchange rates, updates, model downloads, optional Fresh Picks and external source links require internet access and may depend on third-party availability.
Fresh Picks, if enabled in a future release, downloads one signed common catalog and ranks it on your PC. Sources, links and short summaries are informational and may be incomplete or outdated. Opening an external link is a direct relationship between you and that publisher under its own terms. We may remove or change a source when needed for safety, quality, licensing or availability.
Optional models, add-ons, partner tools or connected services may be offered separately. Any price, provider and material requirement will be shown before acquisition. Local interest tags may not be used to select paid offers for you.
The Software itself is free, so there is nothing to refund. For any optional paid model, service or add-on, its purchase page will state any voluntary refund window and process before payment — see the Terms. Mandatory withdrawal and refund rights may also apply to qualifying transactions under the law where you live; this Agreement does not reduce them. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Where the law of your home country grants consumers mandatory guarantees, those guarantees are not affected by this clause.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Software. Nothing in this clause excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law — including liability for willful misconduct or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
This license ends automatically if you materially breach it. When it ends, stop using the Software and delete your copies. Sections 4, 5, 9, 10 and 12 survive termination.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country (and, where applicable, state) where you live, and any right those laws give you to bring or defend disputes in your local courts.
